Well like clockwork its time for local elections again here in our City of Bayonne. For the top spot it’s Mayor Jimmy Davis v. Jason O’Donnell v. Dr. Mitchell Brown. All five of the City’s council seats are also to be contested this May. We will have much to talk about in the coming weeks. Clearly Mayor Davis is a heavy favorite but a campaigned is still to be fought. Are people happy with the tremendous amount of development taking place? Are people happy with the new businesses on Broadway? Are people happy with all the events and celebrations taking place in town? Are people happy with the new public artwork and music venues? Are people happy with the Christmas decorations on Broadway? Are people happy with the new park renovations? Are people happy with all the recreation programs being run by the City? Time will tell. Our future posts will look closer at the issues and the various races. Stay tuned.
