The Davis team held a meet and greet tonight at Melanie’s located on East 21st Street and Prospect Avenue. Reports are that the room was packed with over 100 people. Apparently the Mayor was well received and spent over two hours talking with people about their concerns and answering questions that anyone had. The council members were present and Sal Gullace was a hit with the crowd. Freeholder Kenny Kopacz was present along with political legend, former City Council President Joe Makowski. Looks like the Davis team will do well on the Eastside as clearly many are recognizing that the new developments on the Eastside is causing property values to rise. Council member Gullace is to be applauded for working with Mayor Davis in bringing development to the Eastside.. Their vision allowed them to take the heat in bringing the Eastside to the brink of a true renaissance. Four more years will allow the Davis team to complete the job.
