This Saturday was the Dennis P. Collins Park rededication ceremony. Free entertainment, free kid activities, free food, even a dog parade was part of the festivities. More importantly a Bayonne icon, Mayor Dennis P. Collins, was honored.
The Davis administration should be proud of the job done at the park. New pirate themed play area, dog park, new pergola, skate park, volley ball, and all this is just phase one. The park looks great. Coupled with the renovated Veteran’s Stadium and the 8th Street park, it is clear that not only has the Davis administration brought about new development, new stores, a ferry, new music and art opportunities, and 2700 jobs, but also has found a way to renovate our parks without using property tax dollars.
Kudos to the Davis team, you earned it.
A Happy Resident
